We got snubbed by Critics’ Choice and Golden Globe, and even left off the list of Oscar nominees. There’s still hope for a Razzie, and quicker than you can say “made for DVD” we’ll be appearing in a store near you.
It may be an untended comedy, short of action and drama, but it’s a sequel to the in-store video we made a few years back. In the original, we hired an actress – Tina St. Marie, who, by the way, is a far from the so-called divas we sometimes hear about – wrote and rewrote the script (several times), filmed in a studio with take after take after take, and finally edited and cut for what seemed like an eternity.
It was our first stab at this side of promoting Granite Gold® and explaining proper stone care. It was a fun, albeit long adventure, and we were pretty satisfied with the demonstration video.
Why change a good thing?
The first one did exactly what we wanted it to do – introduce Granite Gold brand granite cleaners and other stone-care products. But still being a young company, we’ve learned a lot more about Granite Gold over the years. We pride ourselves on three critical areas we think are unique to Granite Gold and are of the most value to consumers:
So we didn’t necessarily change a good thing with the sequel. Instead, we chose to put a real face of Granite Gold on the big screen to be as authentic as we are in the office, on a job site or in the lab coming up with a new product.
